Peepu.ng … a community of peepu who love to keep fit and travel.

We come together every Saturday to exercise or go on a tour (once every month, last saturday of the month to be precise), we also relax, learn, pray, network, donate to charity (every november) from time to time. Our physical exercise programs include swimming, cycling, walk, outdoor cardio, dance, sauna, outdoor games, massage and yoga.

The Healthy You by PEEPU is all about our wellbeing. We are a group of peepu who love to keep fit, relax, travel and pray….its all about our spiritual, physical and emotional wellbeing.

We believe the HEALTHIER and happier we are, the better we live, the more productive we become, the more our effectiveness. This is why The Healthy You by peepu was created to bring peepu together to work on ourselves to become fitter and happier. Life is too short to live in sadness.

We are committed to this through our various programs, namely: Cardio, Yoga, Swimming, Dance, Cycling, Games, travel, and tour.

Our Services

AEROBICS/CARDIO

Aerobic exercise is recommended by most doctors to people with, or at risk for, heart disease. That’s because exercise strengthens your heart and helps it more efficiently pump blood throughout the body.

Cardiovascular exercise can also help lower blood pressure, and keep your arteries clear by raising “good” high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol and lowering “bad” low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels in the blood.
If you’re specifically looking to lower blood pressure and cholesterol, aim for 40 minutes of moderate- to vigorous-intensity aerobic exercise between 3 and 4 times each week..

CYCLING

Taking up cycling can be one of the best decisions you’ll make in life. Whether you choose to hop on a bike for health reasons, to help the environment, try a new activity, or even to supplement another sport, cycling is a ton of fun

Cycling is one exercise we should engage in on a daily basis if the time permits, get on your bicycle on a cool evening and ride for 30 minutes to 1 hour while taking in fresh breeze in a safe environment. This alone will add more years to you

SWIMMING

Swimming is a great recreational activity for people of all ages. Recreational swimming can provide you with a low-impact workout and it’s also a good way to relax and feel good. Common swimming styles in recreational swimming are breaststroke, backstroke, side stroke and freestyle.

TOUR SATURDAY BY PEEPU

A host of studies have highlighted the cardiovascular health benefits of taking a vacation. In one, men at risk for heart disease who skipped vacations for five consecutive years were 30 percent more likely to suffer heart attacks than those who took at least a week off each year. Even missing one year’s vacation was associated with a higher risk of heart disease. Studies find similar results with women: Women who took a vacation once every six years or less were almost eight times more likely to develop heart disease, have a heart attack, or die of a coronary-related cause than those who took at least two vacations a year. These statistics are not to scare you but to persuade you that time off is important to your health in the long run.

YOGA BY PEEPU

Yoga is known for its ability to ease stress and promote relaxation.
In fact, multiple studies have shown that it can decrease the secretion of cortisol, the primary stress hormone.

One study demonstrated the powerful effect of yoga on stress by following 24 women who perceived themselves as emotionally distressed.

After a three-month yoga program, the women had significantly lower levels of cortisol. They also had lower levels of stress, anxiety, fatigue and depression.
Another study of 131 people had similar results, showing that 10 weeks of yoga helped reduce stress and anxiety. It also helped improve quality of life and mental health.
When used alone or along with other methods of alleviating stress, such as meditation, yoga can be a powerful way to keep stress in check.
